Joan Efua Hanson
Dr. Hanson is a Ghanaian medical doctor based in the UK, with a keen focus in ophthalmology. She currently serves as a Junior Clinical Fellow in Ophthalmology at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.
Dr. Hanson earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and continued with her professional development in both clinical practice and medical education. She recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Warwick to further her commitment to mentoring the next generation of physicians.
Dr. Hanson is deeply dedicated to the treatment and prevention of eye disorders and is actively involved in ophthalmic research with 2 publications in Eye News.
